I brought this dongle a while ago because our internet connection was always coming and going and was very unreliable. I saw it online and read about it and decided that this could be the solution to our problems.

The idea with a pay as you go dongle is that you top up your credit, just like a pay as you go mobile phone. This was ideal for me as I could top it up when I needed it and only pay for what I actually needed and/or used, rather than payiong monthly. You can choose to pay monthly if you want to though.

To use the stick you simply plug it into the usb port and then follow the on-screen instructions, which are very simple and take you through the installtion process. Once it is installed you are ready are to go and can use the internet as you normally would. You only need to install the software the first time and after that you will see an icon on your desktop. You just double click the icon and then you are guided through anything else you need to do.

I thought this would solve our problems but it really didn't. Whenever I top it up it works for around 2 hours at best and then you lose the connection and have to close the programme and start again. I have also had times when I couldnt actually get it to work at all.

When it does work, it is very slow and it has a content lock on it which has to be unlocked before you can use any websites like facebook or twitter which is very annoying and not really needed in my opinion.

This dongle is a great idea and when you need internet on the go its great, just don't expect too much from it in term of reliability and speed.
