General Comments:
... no mention of the DWP rules regarding ISAs. Most Endowments and Pensions used for Mortgage repayment are unaffected as they are not deemed to be accessible Savings. There could be in excess of 500.000 ISA Mortgages in existence. HSBC ... , I would like to share my experience about HSBC. Two months ago I saw my flat and agreed a price and when trying to arrange the mortgage , the estate agent said because the flat was inside a high rise building no banks will give me a mortgage . And he suggested I should pay cash for my flat . But I did not have that much cas to buy the flat. So what I did was I went to many other estate agency and broker and they all said the same , even the banks , untill I walked in to HSBC and explained to them that I was planning to buy a flat on the 8th floor in a high rise building and wanted a mortgage, the lady turned around and said I am sure we will be able to give you a mo... Charcol Online ... has been one of the market leaders for the brokerage of mortgages for a few years now. It offers a wide range of product, many of which are exclusive to the site (or at least that s what you re told). Bottom line though: is it worth using their services or would you be better using them to seek out the deals and then going direct or through another broker? ~~~~~~~~ Navigation: ~~~~~~~~ The site is really easy to navigate being split up into sections each of which deals with a different area of mortgages from remortgaging to first-time buyers. Mortgage Express Ltd ... them requesting the deeds. So far, everything is going great - Mortgage Express have arranged the new buy-to-let mortgage for me and will sort my house sale out in no time. Just before Christmas I rang my solicitor to see if they had arrived and, lo and behold they had not. On the 3rd January my solicitor rang me to inform me that my Mortgage company had sent my deeds to the wrong solicitor - one in Middlesex. I coincidentally live in Belfast, where we have a completely different conveyancing legal sysytem to England so only God knows how they ended up in Middlesex.
