M1859094. L & C are definitely a good company to provide a mortgage. They know a lot about different mortgage providers, and can tailor a mortgage to your situation and requirements, without pushing one on you. They do not charge a fee which is a bonus.
The customer service was poor. We started with one guy who went on holiday. He had been through the entire application with our husband. A whole week later someone else said we hadn't provided the information required, but we had, and then they tried to do the application again. They clearly had no idea what he had done. We kept having to deal with different people and none seemed to know what had happened before. The whole application was delayed because they said we hadn't supplied my husband's income details - which we had. Also we were told different things by different people.
