DISGUSTING CLIENT SERVICE AND CONDUCT (Nationwide Building Society)

I went overseas for medical treatment for a serious condition last year. I couldn't afford to have it treated in the UK. Nationwide were advised of this in advance but kept sending statements for my savings account to my old address. When the letters were returned, which ofcourse they would be! They locked me out of the internet back & made it imposible for me to pay bills via my savings account. Then they started charging late fees & unauthorised overdraft fees because i was unable to transfer funds into the account becasue they had blocked me from accessing it. They sent threatneing letters regarding my credit card to my old address too, so ofcourse my mail was opened by the people living there, this poses a serious threat of identity theft, but htey dont' care. I had advised Nationwide them on numerous occasions that mail would not be forewarded to me while I was in hospital overseas, but they paid no attention. Thank God my mortgage is with another professional competant concern who provides me with superior customer service.
I had previously taken out several personal loans with Nationwide, which had been paid off early but when I asked for written confirmation that they had been paid off in full they refused to respond so they really must be worried that I would takev out business with a superior service provider. Well now they can worry as I have alerted all friends and family in the Uk, and there are many, of their disgusting customer service & they way that they treat clients of high investment and of long standing.
The only time they are pleasant of helpful is when they want your business, you see how they treat you when you take it somewhere else!
There are words cannot express politely my disgust at their incompetance and rudeness.
