This has got to be the best system ever! I have had bank accounts and mortgages for 15 years and it has always felt like an uphill struggle. If you are good with money and discplined about saving then this definately the account for you. You earn more by putting your savings into this account than you would any other high street bank or building society, as the money you put in is offset against the money that you have borrowed.
It all seems complicated when you read the bumpf that you are sent but read it slowly and take your time and it will be worth it, honest! It's a great feeling to know that we are paying off some of the mortage at a pace to suit our budget. The more we keep in each month then the less monthly mortage we pay the following month, we have already saved a great deal this way.
It takes away a lot of the worry! It only took about 2 months to get it up and running, this is because they have a solictor to act for them plus a surveyor comes to assess your property. You even get a copy of the report which is ideal if you ever sell your house. It's one of the few companies you ring that you don't get an automated message and actually speak to a human being!
