We had a mortgage with the Woowich a year or so ago, but eventually remortgaged to BritannicMoney. Woolwich actually offer some of the best deals around for mortgages, which is a shame since I have to say that they were a nightmare to deal with.

Count on at least 1/2 hour listening to lift music before speaking to the wrong person and joining the back of the queue again. It's just not acceptable, and other providers don't appear to have such delays.

Otherwise, the mortgage was handled OK with no major setup problems to report (though they were not the quickest ot sort out paperwork by any means).

In summary - good products (especially the Offset range), BUT pathetic customer service means that I would rather get a slightly poorer deal from someone else :(
