Asus A8N-SLI Premium ... ve had this motherboard for a year now and i m really impressed - i had my doubts as to whether the passively cooled chipset was a good idea, but even when masively overclocked it still doesn t break 36°. This motherboard is a VERY god overclocking board, i am running an AMD 3700 KAB1E, a stepping renowned for it s overclocking prowess, and this motherboard has taken it from 2.2 GHz to 3.07 GHz, which is the CPU s limit and a 40% overclock. The FSB is on a 54% overclock, set to 307 MHz, which just shows you how much more this motherboard can give - add to the fact that even with such strain on the motherboard it not only never misses a beat but also had more to give as... Asus K8V-X ... bought this product in January 2005 with cpu AMD Athlon 64 2800+. This system I have use today. I have overlocked FSB from 200 to 225 MHz. Barrier of overlocking has been SATA interface. At freqency more. then 225 MHz my HDD does net starting. Freqency of AGP and PCI have no multiplier to FSB. Memory (DDR 400 Hynix 512 Mb) func without annotations at 450 MHz. In my opinion it is a good product for desktop system if you aren t overlocker.... Read the full review: ASUS by berliozz_n |

Asus A7V8X-MX SE ... bought this board about 18 months ago to build a fairly cheap upgrade computer for a friend of mine, they are a very basic user and so as most of the required devices are on-board e.g graphics / sound, this was a good choice for the price On opening the box you are presented with the manual, a driver cd-rom, motherboard back plate, Asus Case sticker and the usual HDD and floppy cables. Oh yes did I mention the board too, nicely wrapped in an anti-static bag.
