The first thing i noticed is the OTIS cooling no fan s on the motherboard just a heatpipe that goes from the central core of the motherboard to a bay that keeps the system cool by extracting the heat through the pipe. The dual PCI-Express x16 slots enables SLI with up to 4 GPU s by having two dual GPU cards, such as the 7950GX2, installed. MSI 845PE Max2-R ... i did not by this motherboard on its own i have had no end of trouble with my pc beacuse of it twice it has blown my ram as well as runing my usb drives and my sound card (intergrated) i also had trouble with a previous MSI motherboard even if you have an extremely powerful proccesor chip the likelyhood of it failing is high if you do decide to buy one my personal opinion is to make sure u have atleast a 12 month on-site warrenty... Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH ... bought this Motherboard when i was a total computer noob three or four years ago and its one of the only components left in my system that hasnt broken or been replaced, it was expensive at the time but well worth the money. The owner of the shop who sold me the board explained to me that when something is of a high quality that its worth bragging about, he then proceeded to show me the keyring that came with his new mercedees, he then showed me the equally extravagent keyring that came with the zenith; this is when i realised it really was a classy piece of equipment.
