Sapphire Pure Innovation PI-AM2RS690MHD: ... motherboard we have are based on AM2 platform and feature the 690 chipset. This chipset series consists of two primary variants: the 690G and the 690V. The difference between the 690G and 690V is that the 690G supports on-board DVI and HDMI interfaces, while the 690V does not. The big difference is the integrated graphics core, with the 690G including the higher-end ATI Radeon X1250 and the 690V using the Radeon...

LungTao MSI K9N Neo-F V3
... use this motherboard on a regular basis at work, and it s great. The board is reliable, stable and really well laid out. We are running it with an AMD 64X2 4200 processor and it works a treat. The system is very stable, although I haven t tried to overclock it, and the BIOS is very easy to navigate. I have always found MSI boards well made, the components are neatly laid out and all the SATA, PATA, USB etc, connections are easy to reach. The only thing to note - which is not a problem if you are setting up a new system - is that the board only has 1 IDE chanel. This means you have to be happy to upgrade to SATA drives if you want more than one drive running or want...

Hi-Spec-Tek Asus M2N-E SLI
... I am back already. Yesterday I reviewed the ASUS A8N-E and it certainly was a good one in every respect. The model here, the ASUS M2N-E has proved itself over the last year. I built several systems using this MoBo and so far it has been well up to ASUS usual standard and for me it is the natural successor to the previous one (A8N-E). My comments are that on getting my first motherboard box with its numerous bits and pieces, was that you simply had your moneys worth. Ample leads and more. A sinch to assemble and it worked immediately I switched on, and like giving birth (I imagine), it was a relief when it did fire up and the labour was over LOL! There is a grea...

Hi-Spec-Tek Asus A8N-E
... two years ago or more, I purchased TWO of these ASUS A8N-E motherboards and built up two identical systems. One of these I had been using for up to 16 hours per day and that was over two years of many hours of long and hard usage. I have nothing but praise for this model, the speed and reliability has been exemplary all this time. I run both of my PC s at 3% over-clock all the time but have tried 5% too, this I found made the PC unstable and sometimes it would reboot itself and sometimes not boot up at all but just go in an attempted boot-up in an endless cycle. So I took the Over-clocking NOS down to 3% where it has stayed and has been trouble free. I think it i...
