Abit KA7-100 is the new updated version of the motherboard which i have just bought. Extras now included support up to 8 ide devices. which use the ultra ata/100, or ultra DMA/100, is the extension of the ultra ata/66 interface. The high speed interface has a 100 MBYTES/sec transfer rate and maxmimized disk proformance under the current PCI local bus environment
I would also liked to add that the ABIT web site is very helpful and even a novice would be abe able to fit this motherboard with the help of the best manual of any motherboard i have ever bought
