Abit KT7

I have had my KT7 now for around 6 months and I can honestly say this is a great piece of kit! For around £100 you get a superb motherboard which has obviously been made for overclockers - the KT7 was the first motherboard to my knowledge to include active cooling on the northbridge chipset which is an excellent idea for combatting FSB overclocking related heat problems! There are plenty of fan sockets placed around the board, a brilliant little heat probe under the CPU socket to watch those temps, 5 PCI slots and an AGP slot also. Fantastic board, supporting SocketA athlons and Durons. Bargain price, goes to a massive 1.5Gig of 133 RAM. Great for a server, and Ive found this board immensely useful for overclocking. Needs patching for win95 or 98, but SE does it itself. Never a problem, and deffinately a bargain buy. Got all the slots I need to run my small network server, and the ability to run at speeds to make one hell of a kick-ass games machine. Wow. 10 out of 10!
