... good cheap motherboard had mine for nearly 3 yrs now and still working ok i mainly use mine as a server for my other 2 pc s very fast start up shuts down if it over heats which is a plus to save the cpu from damage. package includes back panel driver cd floppy lead hard drive lead pack of screws instruction book and diy pc building which i found intersting on where to put each item a must for beginners... Asrock K7VT2 ... had this mobo. It came with very little extras than a manual and a driver cd. I bought it for no money, had a duron 1300 on it, then xp1800 and finally xp2400. It worked just fine. I had it with a 400W PSU and infineon memory. Then my girlfriend decided that she needs a replacement for her k6@500 and passed the thing to her. It is still working, however she observed that the onboard lan is slower that my hp netserver lan card. I guess it should be so; after all it is an onboard lan... This mobo is not intended for any significant over clocking. (i was not looking for it, but what the heck i tried:) One important thing, be shure to read the manual, it has a jumper for ... Asrock P4I45GL ... good board for the money, I only spent £40 on it as part of a system rebuild. I needed a mobo which was good value, could support a P4 processor and PC2700 Ram and thought this fitted the bill perfectly. I was actually very surprised by how well featured the board is. I fitted a P4 2.0Ghz Processor, 512Mb PC2700 Ram, 60Gb Hard Drive, DVD Rom Drive and floppy. I housed it all in a case I had knocking round. Total build time was not more than 30 minutes, and everything worked first time. The Mobo allowed me to overclock the CPU to 2.3Ghz and still remained stable. Asrock K7VM2 ... bought 3 Asrock K7VM2 Motherboards i've become something of an expert on them. what suprised me is the large amount of CPU support!. eg. This board will run a 1.3ghz Duron and will reach an AthlonXP 2400+. Anyone buying this Board will discover that everything needed is onboard, so it's ideal for a first computer build or even a nice machine to network with as it includes on board LAN. also the ever ageing serial connection is included and get this 4 USB2.0 on board, plus the choice for expansion. Anyone not sure whether not to have one must admit that onboard graphics, sound, Lan, USB 2.0 and standard PS/2 is pretty good. For handling it's tasks it...
