Advantages: EASY BUILD, FAST, GENERALLY RELIABLE,

Disadvantages: I FOUND NONE AT ALL.

I have been very impressed by the two Asus A8N-E mobos that I purchased about 2 years or more ago. The speed: fast! Performance generally excellent, need best cooling possible! Can be overclocked to up to around +5%. Becomes unstable at times if overclocked more than this, usually 3% is adequate. It is a good alrounder and both have been trouble free. But this week one of them went down - kaput. Not dead but no video output. I changed all bits from the other know working system but in the end I had to admit that the MoBo was done for. In all, these were soooooooo good and great value. Mine was used solidly for about 16 hours a day for the last 2 years. How good is that. It deserves to retire. Meanwhile I am using PC2 with the same model MoBo in it. No complaints!. I rate the A8N-E as one of the best. Now hard to find I will settle for the A8N-SLI. they are still around and of course 939 pin Processor as is the A8N-E. Not lost that!!! Cheers and thanks to ASUS. (*_^)

Summary: I WISH ASUS WOULD REPRODUCE THIS MODEL MOTHERBOARD AGAIN. THEY ARE IN SHORT SUPPLY NOWADAYS, SHAME!
