This was possibly the pinnacle of socket 939 technology since it combines two SATA controllers, SLi, huge connectivity, awesome reliability and complete silence into one board.

There is no problem with this board overheating thanks to it's heatpipe and heatsink technology. Installation is very easy since any SATA devices are detected by the Windows installation as normal so no additional drivers are needed. The CD has drivers for the chipset which includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, surround sound and anything else you would need.

I run this with an AMD 64 3500 but it will accept the dual core versions too.

I am running this board with a Gigabyte Gigabyte GV RX80L256V fanless graphics card with no problems at all.

Perhaps my only gripe is that it does seem to take a while to start up- on the boot screen it sits and thinks for a few seconds after detecting all the drives and then booting Windows. That is a small price to pay though given its silence, reliability and plethora of connectivity solutions.

The position of the CPU may cause mounting problems- with my graphics card I had to mount CPU cooler (EVO 120) backwards to get it to fit!

Summary: If you are thinking of getting an A8N you might as well get this one.
