Featuring the Intel 82559 Fast-Ethernet LAN controller that supports 100/10Mbps data transfer rate, the CUV266-DLS boasts of a wide range of connectivity features to provide optimum system performance and scalability. An Adaptec 7899 Dual Channel Ultra 160 SCSI controller enables data transfer rates of up to 160Mbps for fast and reliable server performance. The ASUS CUV266-DLS motherboard supports up to 4GB high-speed DDR SDRAM at a peak bandwidth of 2.1 GB/s. The ultra-fast 266MHz memory bus provides the required bandwidth to suit the most demanding Internet and 3D graphics applications. The ASUS CUV266-DLS motherboard adopts a newly designed clock generator that allows a 1MHz step increment on the Front Side Bus (FSB), making gradual over-clocking possible through the BIOS software.
