Advantages: Slim, Low Heat, Supports 32gigs of RAM, It's Purple

Disadvantages: Too Spendy, Outdated, No SLI,No Quadcore Support, 1 IDE Port, No DDR3 RAM

This is a great industry standard motherboard. This supports 32gigs of RAM which is very good considering it supports 64bit operating systems. This motherboard isn't meant for overclocking, but you still can if you want too. There is only one PCI Express slot, so there's no SLI.
I have owned this motherboard for over 2 years without any problems and it, so far, seems very reliable. Installing it was a breeze and connecting all my peripherals was fine and dandy. The drivers on the CD that came with it weren't too outdated and they seemed to work fine with Windows Vista 32bit. The only thing I was worried about was that there is a gray heatsink right below the PCI Express slot. I was worried by big 8800GTS wasn't going to fit, but the card sits right above it.
This mobo had plenty of SATA ports for my hard drive and CD drive, but only ONE IDE port. That usually isn't a problem because most hard drives are all SATA, but if you have more than one old drive you want to hook up, there will be a problem.

Overall, this isn't the best motherboard you can get. Gigabyte offers a lot more motherboards with more features, for the same, or even lower, price. I would recommend getting your hands on a newer motherboard that supports AM3 for AMD Phenom, or another that supports Intel's quadcore CPU's.

P.S. Even though V3.0 is already out, ECS still offers drivers, BIOS, manuals, etc. for this motherboard on their website.

*Version 3.0 is already available for this Motherboard*

Summary: For the price, it's not worth it, but it does offer some good features.
