Elitegroup P4VMM2 ... P4M266 Northbridge and VT8233 Southbridge, as well as an integrated Savage 4 2D/3D graphics accelerator. The chipset provides a peak bandwidth of 266MB/second and supports 4X AGP, LPC I/O (ITE8705F) for hardware monitoring and AC97 audio codec. Onboard LAN (PHY) is optional, while MAC is integrated in the Southbridge.

There are two DDR sockets (168-pin) and two DDR DIMM sockets (184-pin) for a maximum of 2GB DDR SDRAM memory or 2GB SDRAM memory, thus allowing the user to choose his preferred memory platform (DDR and SDRAM memory cannot be used together). For expansion options, the P4VMM2 provides 2 PCI slots, an AGP slot and a CNR slot.

The P4VMM2 comes with PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors, dual USB ports, two high-speed serial ports, an EPP/ECP parallel port, audio jacks for microphone-in, line-in, line-out and CD-in and a game port. There are two PCI IDE interfaces that support up to four IDE devices (PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2, ATA66/100), as well as four extra USB ports (USB1.0 and USB 2.0).
