Advantages: Easy to setup, Quick, Cheap

Disadvantages: Not the most feature rich board out there, Not many overclocking options without a bios update

OK, so maybe there ARE faster motherboards out there, there ARE nicer looking ones, there ARE ones with more features but so what? no board i've EVER owned has been this much (dare i say it?) FUN!!

This board does exactly what it says on the tin, fully featured with onboard souns, supports both sdr/ddr ram (useful if you want to update your existing system as you can buy DDR at a later date to save money)

I've owned mine for months now and never had a problem, it will take cpu's upto AMD's new 2400+ and take easily take a GB of ram for futureproofness! It supports agp4x and with a bios update even allows you to overclock your processor like many higher-end boards (get cpu speed for free!)

Its easy to setup (simply take out your old one and whack it in) took me an hour max to replace my old one, boot into windows and install the drivers off the cd you get with it and you're away!

The speed of the K7S5A is up to scratch for its price, it competes with many boards that 'should' be faster due to their higher prcing and features.

To summarise, although its getting a bit long in the tooth (its older brother the k76sa is out now) it still has enough features to keep every apart from speed-freaks happy, the support for two types of ram, speed, ability to have lots of ram and a fast cpu, onboard sound and it's 'ease' factor are just too much to pass by, i HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is dipping their toe into PC building or even people who are quite competent already.

9/10

Lol, thats why you have windows in the side with neon lights in it! Didn't they teach you anything at mad-computer-modding-scho ol-for-nutters?

Look here for examples of the stuff you can get.
