Asus A8N-E ... two years ago or more, I purchased TWO of these ASUS A8N-E motherboards and built up two identical systems. One of these I had been using for up to 16 hours per day and that was over two years of many hours of long and hard usage. I have nothing but praise for this model, the speed and reliability has been exemplary all this time. I run both of my PC s at 3% over-clock all the time but have tried 5% too, this I found made the PC unstable and sometimes it would reboot itself and sometimes not boot up at all but just go in an attempted boot-up in an endless cycle. Asus A8N-E ... have been very impressed by the two Asus A8N-E mobos that I purchased about 2 years or more ago. The speed: fast! Performance generally excellent, need best cooling possible! Can be overclocked to up to around +5%. Becomes unstable at times if overclocked more than this, usually 3% is adequate. It is a good alrounder and both have been trouble free. But this week one of them went down - kaput. Not dead but no video output. I changed all bits from the other know working system but in the end I had to admit that the MoBo was done for. In all, these were soooooooo good and great value. Mine was used solidly for about 16 hours a day for the last 2 years. How good is that. I... Asus A8N-SLI Premium ... ve had this motherboard for a year now and i m really impressed - i had my doubts as to whether the passively cooled chipset was a good idea, but even when masively overclocked it still doesn t break 36°. This motherboard is a VERY god overclocking board, i am running an AMD 3700 KAB1E, a stepping renowned for it s overclocking prowess, and this motherboard has taken it from 2.2 GHz to 3.07 GHz, which is the CPU s limit and a 40% overclock. The FSB is on a 54% overclock, set to 307 MHz, which just shows you how much more this motherboard can give - add to the fact that even with such strain on the motherboard it not only never misses a beat but also had more to give as...
