Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe ... there, I bought this board about a year ago to replace my fried Aopen Board. I got a good price as they are no longer top of the range boards. So what makes the A7N8X-E Deluxe a worthwhile buy, well if you are looking for a board which oozes the build quality and features of a Rolls Royce then this is the board for you, bearing in mind that you can only go as high as an Athon XP 3200+ or a Sempron 2800+ When I unpacked the board I noticed that there was sufficient room around the CPU socket but maybe not enough for some overclocking coolers, an experience point to note here being that some cases have their power supply right above where the processor would be which c... Asus A7V8X-MX SE ... opening the box you are presented with the manual, a driver cd-rom, motherboard back plate, Asus Case sticker and the usual HDD and floppy cables. Oh yes did I mention the board too, nicely wrapped in an anti-static bag. I suppose it s at this point that I should list some of the features: 333 MHz FSB 2GB Max Memory VIA KM400 Chipset Socket A - Athlon XP Support up to 2.25 GHz USB 2.0 Integrated Graphics, LAN and Sound. The A7V8X-MX SE is a good choice in my opinion, I have built numerous machines over the years and found this board very easy to work with as there is ample room, this board takes full advantage of the Micro ATX board width and is not at all cramped. Abit KD7-G ... worked well for years and it is still full-working, btw it is going to be a little old. Fast and stable, easy to overclock, the money I spent to buy this MB (170Euros) were spent for a good item! It has been one of the first MB with gbit lan, and its 4 ddr slots allow to install a big quantity of RAM to use TECH application with no problem. The best MB I ever bought!!...
