Churchill Insurance ... There's nothing worse than pressing about 6 buttons on your telephone keypad to get to an operator, especially when you probably got the same operator regardless of what you pressed! There were a range of options available, such as choosing how much your insurance quote would be depending on what level of insurance excess you are willing to pay. I found it much easier to do this on-line than over the phone, as I had decided how much I was going to pay, and found that by shuffling the answers around I got the best package for me. So for my money I got accident cover, a relatively low excess and the otherwise same coverage I currently have, but at a lower price. I was pl... Co-operative Insurance Society ... up initially they sent an agent to my house. I know some people would prefer the personal service, and I remember the coop man used to come round to my house growing up every week to collect various insurances, but I found it a bit inconvenient and would have prefered to do it all over the phone. I found the agent to be friendly but a bit overbearing but he did print out my policy on the spot making it possible to tax my car straight away. I was lucky to never had to make a claim but I know friends who have. They dealt with the claim really quickly, and with no hassles.
