	Tesco Car Insurance ... have been insured with Tesco for nearly five years now. I changed from Lloyds/TBS because it was a lot cheaper and offering the same cover. Unfortunately I had an accident in my car, and it was my fault. But there was no hesitation from Tesco, they arranged for their assessors to collect the car the following day and also a courtesy car after that. The assessors immediately wrote the car off, although I felt it was repairable. It was a 1998 Ford Focus estate and needed a new bonnet, bumper, near side wing and lights. Although I had people who could put this right for me, and possibly saved some money, it would have been too much bother and more than what the car was wor... 	Direct Line ... up to direct line car insurance due to better than average cover, including being allowed to drive other cars 3rd party. I couldn t find much information on line but according to their website this cover is standard (see http://www.directline.com/about_us/news_141005.htm ). Unfortunately, as I am under 25, I am excluded from what is supposedly standard . They didn t tell me this when I bought the policy and If I had not read it in detail I would have been driving uninsured. 	Diamond Car Insurance ... can only really review my experiences of Diamond, and my only experience is the pricing! I have been with Diamond car insurance for six months now (my first six months of driving). I used www.comparethemarket.com to get my quotes for my first car and they came up the cheapest along with their sister company, Admiral. Their prices were very reasonable considering; I was 21, passed my driving test the day before I bought the car, drive an 03 reg convertible, and wanted fully comp insurance. Most companies quoted me £3000 upwards for 12 months - one even quoted me £6000! Diamond however quoted me £1400 including the £85 I opted to pay for premium breakdown cover. I decid...
