Direct Line ... my fault and the other party admitted all responsibilty. I am fully comp with 5 years no claims. Costs me about £500 a year. I had to pay upfront for a car hire, because my car was not road-worthy, and a £250 excess. They punted off the collection of this money to a 3rd rate solicitors firm. DL tell me that claim is finished, even though I haven't recieved any money from the Solicitors. They just say " contact the solicitors, not our responsibility". The solicitors keep telling me "the cheques in the post". DL are useless. Use anyone else other than them. I am going to change my insurance as soon as I finally get the money out of these char... Tesco Car Insurance ... greed. I was involved in accident, third party at once admitted fault, and so their insurers. Not only I have informed to Tesco Insurance full details of 3rd party but even reference number of the 3rd party insurers. Third party insurers immediately agreed to pay... And what do you think --- three months passed and nothing is done yet. Not only they are incompetent. Tesco Insurance degree of arrogance is sky high. When you start complain they immedialy go personal, and become emotionally aggravated. They behave like it is a privilege for me to be insured by them, not like am their customer. Carole Nash ... payments in four instalments to be taken on specified dates, a service they offered. The payments were never taken on the dates specified, not even close. Last year they helped themselves to a payment three weeks early! I have also been waiting for some of my documentation since June. I have phoned on various occasions to be given a different excuse as to why I have not recieved them on every call, with the promise they will be with me soon. Still waiting. They also have not returned calls when they have said they would. I used to be very impressed with their customer service but it seems since Carole sold the company things have been sliding.
