BumpyBump Direct Line
... insured my car with Direct Line about 6 years ago purely because it was the cheapest offer I had from the few quotes I gathered. As with most companies, everything was fine until the day I had a problem. Someone drove into the back of me and did quite a lot of damage. The guy admitted it was his fault and told his insurance company so. Direct Line sent me loads of paperwork to fill out as well as receipts for the £300 of repairs that I had to pay for. The police attended and decided to arrest the villain (who shall remain nameless throughout) as our hero was taken to hospital. Some time passed and the police came calling for a statement, the villain of o...

... have been driving for 3 years now but because of my age 24, my gender (Male) and my circumstances of not being rich (living in a not so good area), i find it very hard to find decent priced insurance. Ok, so i dont help myself wth having a 2 litre car. I unfortunately had an accident that was my fault within 3 months of passing my test, but fortunatly started a job that i was given use of a company car with. This was great un until leaving the job a year later. All the other insurers were coming up with quotes for no less than £2000 for the year fully comp, and most wouldnt insure me at all. Elephant quoted at £1200 but because i paid over direct debit 10 monthly inst...
