Cheaper does mean better. I'm 22 years old and have been driving for 4 years, I drive a Vauxhall Astra. I used to be with Tesco car insurance, after two years I decided to shop around using a price comparisons site. The AA popped up as the number one saving, £210 saved on my current policy. i had been with the AA for my car insurance for some years and paid by direct debit and every year got a letter saying that after checking 20 other insurance companys here was the best quote, do nothing and we will roll over your dd payment at the quote given in the letter..................this year due to money worrys like the rest of the world i went online to check for myself via confused.com i always thought it was a bit of a con these sites but what do you know....did save £10 NO did i save £20 NO
I SAVED £220 pounds....i had always trusted the AA name
NEVER again, don`t be lazy people CHECK. told the AA they said they could give me an extra 10% from their quote..............

I got contents and car insurance though aa, when renewal came around it turned out I had been missold contents insurance so probably hadn't been covered for the past year. 2wks later and a small disagreement with a tractor I wrote my car off. Getting information from them was sow but I got a cheque within 3wks. I didn't buy a new car straight way as I borrowed a friends. Once I had bought a new car I called to change the policy to be told that it had been cancelled, as I hadn't replied to their letters, stating I needed to give them new car details within 7 days of they would cancel my policy. Why don’t we all just squeeze into my imaginary Dr Who tardis and go back in time - at least 100 years back. Don’t worry as my imaginary tardis is very reliable and will bring you all back to 2007 in one piece - safe & sound. I promise! - Any volunteers? Wow! - What a response - all aboard then. Admiral multi car insurance quote:- I got an online quote with admiral for two cars. It forced me to go for fully comp for my BMW 528 pushing up the price. Even when I did this it was not any cheaper than elsewhere. In fact it was more expensive. Why arent other companies doing this?
