Advantages: Convenience of Insurance on the web.

Disadvantages: Yellow and black reminds me of wasps.

I arranged my car insurance through the AA's web site, (www.theaa.com), and never had to lift the phone once. They have a large database of available insurers and I found their quotes to be highly competitive.

I originally set up my insurance with the AA for my old car and then a few months ago I changed it for a new one. I got a new quote on their web site and phoned their customer services team and the transfer was made within minutes at no great cost.

All policy documents arrived within a few days and I've had calls from their customer service people just to check I had no problems. Most unusual - they didn't even want to sell me anything else!

If you are looking to renew it's not going to cost you anything to get a free quote - so why are you reading this?!!
