I have both home and car insurance with the AA and have found them to be excellent. Initially I was dubious about buying insurance online - but now I'm definately a convert. Their website is easy to use, though sometimes a bit slow, and allows you to see how changing the amount of the excess, etc. can alter your premium. In my instance I saved £55 on car insurance and £70 on buildings and contents on what I had previously thought were very competitive quotes. If your not keen buying online a telephone ringback service is available.
