I chose the AA after being a member for many years, they gave me a cheap quote with discount for being a member however after an accident this year which was not my fault, they wrote off a completely good car and offered a paltry sum along with wanting me to waiver my voluntary excess. It has been an absolute nightmare from start to, well its not finished. Their brokers sent me someone else's accident questionnaire with all names and car registrations, huge breach of data protection, asked me if I would accept part-payment, told me I had refused an offer I never received, my father witnessed an accident and somehow that has appeared on my policy as my father being the perpretrator of the accident hence I have a claim on my policy that I knew nothing about but they will not or cannot remove it for whatever reason, they will not let me cancel my policy because of said unresolved claims so I am stuck with them until my policy ends in April but reading some of the reviews I am full of dread at the thought of what they will do next. They are a sham!
