Cheaper does mean better. I'm 22 years old and have been driving for 4 years, I drive a Vauxhall Astra. I used to be with Tesco car insurance, after two years I decided to shop around using a price comparisons site. The AA popped up as the number one saving, £210 saved on my current policy. I signed up there and then through there ... Read the complete review

Why don’t we all just squeeze into my imaginary Dr Who tardis and go back in time - at least 100 years back. Don’t worry as my imaginary tardis is very reliable and will bring you all back to 2007 in one piece - safe & sound. I promise! - Any volunteers? Wow! - What a response - all aboard then. I figured if a company that has been around for ... Read the complete review

Admiral multi car insurance quote:- I got an online quote with admiral for two cars. It forced me to go for fully comp for my BMW 528 pushing up the price. Even when I did this it was not any cheaper than elsewhere. In fact it was more expensive. Why arent other companies doing this? Norwich union say thye give a discount for two cars ... I initially got a quote that was £7 cheaper for fully comp insurance than 3rd party fire and theft. This seemed great. However, upon getting my details through they got them wrong. By the time that they corrected them I had not been able to tax my car for a week thus meaning that I could not drive for a week. On top of this the first request ... Read the complete review

I purchased a second vehicle without the realisation that I would have to begin without any No Claims. Thus I was qouted near on £900 aginst £200 if I abandoned my first vehicle. £900 is in addition to what is already paid. I Telephoned over thirty insurance providers and brokers, most of whom charged almost similar amounts; but left the AA as ... Read the complete review

I have recently turned the ever-so-important, and expensive, age of 17, which meant that I wanted to be insured to drive my mother's car, a P-registration Ford Fiesta. She had previously been insured through the AA, so naturally we contacted them for a quote. After all, we wouldn't want to waste our time doing it ourselves, and the AA ... Read the complete review

I was insured with the AA about five years ago and had a bad experience then. I paid my premium up front and after about six months, I sold my car. I couldn't believe it when I only got a £50 refund for six months insurance. I guess that's how they make their money though so I put it down to experience. Eighteen months ago, I was ... Apologies for the title to any insurance agents out there - I know you're only doing your job, but it's just that I'm always put off by the hard sell.. I was completely taken in by the AA's advertising. They promised me that I could save myself from ringing around by calling them. Well, ringing around for insurance quotes ... I have recently bought a new car and after being bombarded with television adverts promoting the AA.com website I decided to give them a try. The main them behind the advert is that' The AA will get you the best deal on your insurance'. I phoned the majority of the car insurance companies in my local Yellow Pages and ... A good friend of mine recently passed her driving test and can’t wait to get behind the wheel. The problem is because she is only 22 years old without any claims bonus or independent driving experience, it’s impossible to get a reasonably cheap quote. I helped prepare a long list of insurance companies to phone around, quotes ... Read the complete review

I have both home and car insurance with the AA and have found them to be excellent. Initially I was dubious about buying insurance online - but now I'm definately a convert. Their website is easy to use, though sometimes a bit slow, and allows you to see how changing the amount of the excess, etc. can alter your premium. In my instance I saved ... Ever seen that TV ad where a dominant young lady browbeats her husband about the fact that she rang the AA to get car insurance? Sounds great doesn't it? Well don't be fooled. Get a few quotes first from the familiar direct insurance companies via their 0800 numbers, weigh them up and then try the AA. You might ... Read the complete review

I arranged my car insurance through the AA's web site, (www.theaa.com), and never had to lift the phone once. They have a large database of available insurers and I found their quotes to be highly competitive. I originally set up my insurance with the AA for my old car and then a few months ago I changed it for a new one. I got a new ... Read the complete review

We did our usual yearly ring round the car insurers, using all the usual 0800 numbers. This year we were getting married just before the insurance was due so didn't want many hassles as we had plenty of them already! Because of this, we were also expecting significant decreases. Our renewal had come through and was very good but thought it was ... Read the complete review

AA Insurance do not do a bad job. To be fair they appear to have a search system designed to give you a good price. I was pleased with mine to start with, 10% off what I was paying and my insurance excess was reduced to £50 on any claim. Pretty decent I thought. My policy came through and I discovered that it was through Drake Insurance. ... Read the complete review

I bought a new car last week and decided that I would get some quotes. I wasn't doing much in the evening so I decided to get an on-line quote. I'm pretty promiscuous when it comes to motor and house insurance. I regard all the big companies as pimps, so I tart about going from one to the other every year to get the best deal they offer me, the consequences being, I only usually stay around till something better turns up. I hadn't claimed from a Motor Insurance Company ... Read the complete review
