I think the only people who would be impressed by Admiral are those that havn't had to claim. Yes they are cheap, but if you need to claim they drag things out for months! They will say they didn't receive documents you have sent, then offer you less than the car is worth. I ended up with several hundred pounds less than my car was worth. I would never use them again. The good reviews were probably written by them - I dont know anyone who has a good word to say about them.

Summary: drag it out for months, and pay less than the market value

Most claims will be settled below what we think the car is worth - I found that with another insurer and a 6 week old car....
