Appalling treatment of customers and can never claim (Admiral Car Insurance)

I would avoid Admiral at all costs! I strongly urge people to avoid this company as they fail on ALL counts:-
1) I insured with them for around 15 years paying regularly. During this time I never had any claims myself, the one time someone broke into my car and I asked them about about claiming they said they would not be able to offer me anything. After weeks of phoning them, they said they would offer 50 towards the cost of 400 I had to pay out my own pocket to get fixed, but I would lose my no claims bonus - for 50 pounds I did not bother.
2) Year on year they automatically renewed my insurance adding significant amounts each year despit the fact that I had never claimed - during the course of a few years my inusrance went up by 100
3) When they made an administrative error at their end and did not renew correctly they cancelled my policy without any notification and then charged me for cancellation.
4) When I rang to complain their customer service was absolutely terrible - trained parrots reading from a script
I cancelled my policy (and had to pay the charges they scammed from me for their admin error!) and now insure 90 cheaper elsewhere hopefully with better customer service!
As others have said Admiral are fine if you just want to pay them money every year and never expect anything in return - otherwise please do yourselves a favour and give them a miss!
