Advantages: One of the cheapest

Admiral Car Insurance is consistantly one of the cheapest car insurers around. I have renewed my policy with them for the last three years. I must admit that when the initial renewal notice comes through the price is never the best, however, with a little bit opf time spent getting a quote from the internet and then ringing Admiral themselves I have consistanly reduced my premium every year. At this moment I have never had to ring them to inform them of an accident so I am unable to comment on this side of the service, however, I feel confident that they would be honest and fair at all times.

When it comes to the staff that I have talked to they have always been very friendly and helpful. The call centre appears to be in the UK and even though I hate ringing call centres, this one has been the least painful so far. The person that you talk to is an actual human being, someone that actually listens to you and will have a laugh with you.

The only problem I ever had was merely a computer problem. I once had two cars insured with Admiral and then part way through the year I sold one car and their computer system could't cope, but once again the staff were very helpful and followed the problem through to resolution.

Speaking of owning more than one car, this company is the place to get insured as they offer a discount for people who have multiple cars, and I found this to be an excellent deal. When your car insurance comes up for renewal I recommend giving Admiral a go.

Summary: Give them a chance to quote you happy.
