Admiral are an excellent car insurance company with a good reputation in the marketplace. I am not with them anymore but used to be up un till recently when I found a cheaper quote they could not match. Despite this I would have no reservations about recommending this insurer to others.

Whenever I rang the customer service representatives they were always friendly and helpful. You didn't have to spend too much time in a queue which always get annoying. Admiral have there reps based in the UK and so you feel you are dealing on common ground. They consistently gave me cheap car insurance and when I first passed my test for a new driver insuring his first car they were very good.

Not only do they give cheap insurance and excellent customer service but they deal with claims well too. When I was at University they had just introduced a pay and display car park system outside the Park Campus in Northampton. Students were not happy and neither was I. I started parking my car on the road outside the campus. So when my dissertation was getting closer to its deadline day I went upto Uni to do some work on the computers. I went up there early evening but stayed till about 1am in the morning trying to get it done. Suddenly my mate burst in. He was in a mad panic. Ben had started going out with some first year and was at the campus to see her. He was shouting at me and telling me my car had been smashed up. He was a big practical joker and I didn't believe him. I calmly walked out of reception only to see Police cars and flashing blue lights from behind the bushes. When I got there my car had been smashed all the way over to the over side of the road and a BMW had hit a tree. It turns out joy riders had stolen the BMW lost control of the car hit my Saxo and managed to escape somehow. The BMW and my Saxo were in a mess. Admiral dealt with my claim very effectively. There corespondence was swift and the customer reps were very efficient. They handled all the police reports really well and I must say considering this was my first claim they were excellent at setting my mind at ease.

If your looking for a cheap car insurance company who will deliver even if they maybe a bit more expensive than others then you may want to give Admiral a try.
