Bell DirectNewest Review: ... (or Admiral's) which makes things operate far faster than a broker who keeps chasing the underwriting company for processing or decisions. So, in my view, Bell Direct is a great company to have insurance from but limits itself to certain criteria. If you fall outside expect your premiums to be higher than normal, if you are inside then you will normally have a realtively cheap and smooth ... more |

Bell Direct is an insurance company part of the Admiral Group offering insuring services Service Naturally if you are looking for car insurance you would shop around to look for the cheapest deal. In my opinion the greatest thing the Bell offered when calling around was a complete comprehensive detail of the facts in a highly commendable manner. The only downsite was they use 0870 or 0844 numbers which aren't exactly cheap. But generally I found the staff very useful. Price Bell, are cheap and offer good invitation prices with perks thrown in. Except, I found that whatever promotion to get you to sign up is getting a cheap ... Read the complete review

I've been with BD for 3 years now & when my policy runs out on midnight friday I most definately will not be renewing it! I'm not here to slander them as a companycause, as I appreciate, everyone has differnt experiences, some good, some okay, some bad! What inticed me into taking out a policy with these guys was the catchy discount & years no claims bonus after 10 months add in the loot. As I hadn't owned my own vehicle for 2 years at that point I needed to get some no claims a.s.a.p. so that I could bring my insurance down pretty sharp! Last November I was unfortunate to have an accident (a car pulled out of a side road into me, I ... Read the complete review

I would like to say that I dealt with this company for two years and they saved me a small fortune due to one of there excellant insurance advisers. If you run two cars and take both policies out at the same time. They allow you to use the highest amount of no claims on both vehicles..I walked away with five years on both cars whereas before I only had zero no claims and five years no claims. Other benefits I like is that they are open between 8am and 10pm even for admin calls. They do however charge £15 a go to change vehicles. The rates that where charge are good as well for young drivers.I was getting quotes for a 1988 BMW 320i of £600 until I got one ... Read the complete review

I generally shop around for my car insurance, and this year Bell Direct produced the cheapest quote, and the best cover. After the usual questions over the phone, a quotation was quickly mailed to me. After phoning to take the cover, the insurance documents were delivered the next day. Cover began immediately, and without a form having to be filled in. All I did was sign the document confirming the details given over the phone. The staff were friendly and efficient, and dealt with a problem I had when changing my car very well. Fortunately, I haven't had to test their claims department, but I feel sure that if they are as good as the rest of the ... Read the complete review
