Budget? No thanks (Budget Insurance Company)

I went with this company last year due to them being the cheapest insurer on gocompare.com (for my car). It was £478 for 3rd party,fire and theft, on my old VW Polo. At the start I found them okay to deal with but that is probably because i was a new customer etc and they wanted to keep me sweet!

However, I have no problem with foreign people, but they were all I got to speak to on the phone and I know its not their fault but I couldnt understand what they were saying too well and this lead to many problems.

Another time I rang up when they randomly cancelled my car insurance saying that I hadnt paid it for that month! This was annoying as I couldnt get through to them, then when I did they confirmed I hadnt paid it and kept saying I hadnt when I had the bank statement in front of me proving that I had!!!
Aparently they couldnt find it on the 'system'- yeah okay!! Funny how you find it when I threaten to go to watchdog about you trying to scam more money out of me!

So when it came to this month and my insurance was due to be renewed, they had the cheek to put my insurance up by DOUBLE even though id been with them a year and already got two years no claims!

I have now changed companies to one that offered my insurance to be half what Budget were asking me for!

Dont go with this company unless you want all the hassel! Its not worth it!!!!
