I have been with CN for many many years now. Over the last few years their customer service has left a lot to be desired.
I renewed my policy with them in June. Arranged payments in four instalments to be taken on specified dates, a service they offered.
The payments were never taken on the dates specified, not even close. Last year they helped themselves to a payment three weeks early!
I have also been waiting for some of my documentation since June. I have phoned on various occasions to be given a different excuse as to why I have not recieved them on every call, with the promise they will be with me soon. Still waiting. They also have not returned calls when they have said they would.
I used to be very impressed with their customer service but it seems since Carole sold the company things have been sliding. I can't fault the policies and benefits but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
I will not be renewing with them next year unless they buck up their service.
I've been insured with Carole Nash now for over 3 years and find their service and prices great. Although I've been riding for over 4 years, my first year I wasn't able to benefit from Classic Motorbike insurance because my bike was a year too young! I can't comment on their regular insurance, although I know they've expanded cover over the years and now even offer car insurance. I think the service has only slightly gone down. They've become much bigger and the people on the other end of the phone are now not always motorbike type people. I was recently involved in an accident and my paperwork was with me the following day. The legal cover that comes with the insurance is priceless. The insurance company that they've appointed to me (Fletchers) is EXCELLENT. Prompt and efficient, I couldn't ask for better. Although I would like to see insurance companies as something I only have to deal with when I'm renewing, it's nice to know that Carole Nash helps out and is still as friendly when you need to contact them after an incident!
