I have been insuring with Churchill for some years now and have only ever put in a claim once about four years ago. At that time I had very good service and was entirely satisfied with the work however if I were to put in a claim now I would not be so sure. First of all if you contact them on the telephone number if you require a quote they will answer almost immediately but if you contact them on another number should you have a query you could be waiting a long time. I tried to contact them over five days with a query concerning my renewal. I was on hold for more than twenty minutes at a time so eventually gave up. In the end I had to put my query in writing. I tried again months later with another query and had the same problem. I also have two friends who had their car's repaired at one of their centres in the West Midlands and they were not happy with the quality of the work done. Of course I cannot speak for their other branches as they may well do better repair work. I have heard that the problem with the quality of work undertaken is due to the fact that they have individual targets to meet and therefore need to get the cars out as quickly as possible. Unfortunately this means that the quality of work will suffer!.
