For 3 years on the trot now I have had my insurance with Churchill who have been fantastic to me. From all the quotes online they have never turned out with the cheapest quote at all. Instead it has been on the phone where they have offered me the best price quotes for car insurance all the time.

There has been a few concerns though when I had a car accident they were not exactly helpful as I expected. I used to call them up about them taking my car away and having a look at it to see if it is a write off or not. All this took them ages to sort out in fact It took them about 3 long weeks to sort out.

I did have a courtesy car promised but it turned up two weeks late also! So after experiencing a car accident Churchill were hardly helpful at all and some of their staff on the phone were giving me the wrong information also!

Since having a car accident I expected my price to go up with Churchill to insure my car. However they have been very good with the prices and only put the insurance quote higher by 100 pounds which is less since I have lost my no claims bonus.

I would recommend if you take out insurance with them then call them up. The quotes you get online of them are always at a higher price and on the phone you can agree some sort of price. You get asked questions such as will you go out after 11 etc all this can lower you cost of insurance but can only be done on the phone.

Summary: Hopefully they can get better
