I had been with Direct Line Insurance for a number of years, mainly as they always quoted me the cheapest price. When I moved home and had a look on the internet for quotes Churchill were the lowest for my new address. I'd never claimed on my motor insurance after 13 years of trouble free motoring until a dreaded day in April.

My car was stolen from a car park and after contacting the police I phoned Churchill immediately. They were extremely helpful, friendly and dare I say it...compassionate and very professional. When the car was found a day later by the police Churchill were again very helpful and arranged a mutually convenient garage for the police to tow the car to.

After inspection by one of their engineers the car was considered uneconomical to repair and I was asked to send in my documents and they would make me an offer for the car. An offer came the next day for a very fair price. I agreed in writing to the offer and sent my documents to the company and received a cheque by return of post.

I recently bought a new car and phoned to have the car transferred to my original poilcy which was done so with no hassel and no extra charge. Again the operator I spoke to was extremely helpful, professional and efficient, and also agreed to send a cover note to the garage I would be collecting the new car from as well as myself. This is the first time I have made a claim to any insurance company so i have nothing to compare my experience with...however it could not have been a much better service than the one I received from Churchill. They made a distressing time a little easier.
