My car was unattended whilst parked outside my place of work, after finishing work i went to my car to realise the rear bumper was hanging off and the panel below the fuel cap was scratched. There was a note on my car from a witness that had left the name of the lorry and the company name that was on the lorry and 6 digits of ... Read the complete review

I have been with Churchill for over nine years now and have always found them to be extremely helpful, courteous and reasonably priced on their car insurance. They are not the cheapest company on the comparison sites but once you are with them the main bonus is that the premiums come down year upon year. This year I expected my insurance ... Churchill car insurance was the company i chose to insure my first car. It was the cheapest on a comparison site and as it had been very well advertised i knew i was making a good choice. I decided to pay monthly because as a full time student, i could not afford to pay the whole fee up front. This added a little extra to the price for ... Read the complete review

Myself and my hubby have insured our cars with Churchills for the last 12 years. This March I got flashed by a speed camera doing 34 in a 30 mile per hour speed limit. So fast forward to May and I had 3 points on my licence . Imy car insurance was renewed with Churchill on April 11 th and when I queried the quote and got it down by £100 ... Read the complete review

We tend to change car insurance companies every year as the renewal quote is invariably higher than the previous year's one. When Swinton almost doubled our premium despite no claims, we chose Churchill, mostly on the basis of price. There were in fact cheaper providers, but we put - stupidly as it turned out to be - trust in the well ... Read the complete review

worst customer service ever!Just noticed their 0845 number cost you £3.95 from BT line and the waiting time is so long and their renewal quote is awful! I will not use them again!

Alan they caught you when fishing! They get them all in at reduced rates then grab it all back either in premium hikes or policy changes designed to benefit them. That ugly dog should be taken to the vet's and put down...lol

After conducting a search online to find a suitable insurance policy for my car it appeared that Churchill were the least expensive. I was fairly surprised by this as they are a well known provider and often when I have done online comparisons, insurers that I hadn't heard a lot about or never heard of at all seemed to be the cheapest ... Shocking level of customer service. Placed on hold for an average of 15 minutes. Wrong documents sent out. Even a simple request for a fax confirmation of car insurance couldnt be met without the wrong dates put on confirmation of motor insurance. Once they have your premium they seem to forget about any after sales customer service - only glad I havent had the misfortune to claim. Wish I had read reviews before I took out my car insurance with them.

I am every insurers worst nightmare, and I knew this when I was finding insurance for my first car last year. At the time I was 17, male and on a provisional having only been driving for a few months... and to top it all off, I had my heart set on a reasonable and fairly decent 1.6L car where most guys my age wouldn't even ... I am 19 and have been with Churchill for a year, simply because they were the cheapest. Again for the second year they are the cheapest but to renew your policy is an ordeal. I had to wait 10minutes before I could speak to anyone, and then I find out it is cheaper to renew online, but the problem is if you renew online, you have to have a new policy number and send in your old details. So I did online anyway just to save an extra £100. But why can't it just recognise my details from before?

Hmmm Churchill....Free Breakdown Cover - as long as you break down within 10 miles of your home... then it's an extortionate amount per mile.User Friendly Service - a call centre that gets you to go through a raft of questions only for the operator to ask you what you wanted anyway.Money Grabbing - you need to cancel a policy and they want £26 for the privilege. No, I won't be using or recommending Churchill. I think that I can get just as shoddy a service elsewhere, without helping them to fund their advertising campaigns.... Ohhh Yes!

My car insurance recently came up for renewal and my exsisting insurance company (direct line) somehow came up up with a renewal quote higher than the previous year, which considering my young age and that I now had my first years no claim discount was very surprising. So off to the price comparison websites I went and was quite ... Read the complete review

For 3 years on the trot now I have had my insurance with Churchill who have been fantastic to me. From all the quotes online they have never turned out with the cheapest quote at all. Instead it has been on the phone where they have offered me the best price quotes for car insurance all the time. There has been a few concerns ... Read the complete review

This is a half baked company.Forwarded my NCD to them then told me they never received it,phoned and some guy on the other end told me to phone back a week later as they still had some backlog to process. Following week I phoned to be told they still hadn`t found my NCD,later that week I received a letter that they were cancelling my policy, again I phoned to no avail.I eventually told them just go ahead with the cancelation. On checking my credit card statement found fraudulent transactions and as Churchill was my last transaction its not hard to put 2 and 2 together....BEWARE People. This is now in the hands of the fraud squad. Also check out http://www.reviewcentre.com for more scary reviews about this company.

Churchill is the worst companty I have ever dealt with. They have taken 15 months to fail to settle a claim against a third party who drove in to my stationary car and got me involved in a potential court case which they now threaten to drop leaving me hundreds of pounds out of pocket. Steer very clear. The dog does not say 'Oh yes!' When it actually matters.
