This is a half baked company.Forwarded my NCD to them then told me they never received it,phoned and some guy on the other end told me to phone back a week later as they still had some backlog to process. Following week I phoned to be told they still hadn`t found my NCD,later that week I received a letter that they were cancelling my policy, again I phoned to no avail.I eventually told them just go ahead with the cancelation. On checking my credit card statement found fraudulent transactions and as Churchill was my last transaction its not hard to put 2 and 2 together....BEWARE People. This is now in the hands of the fraud squad. Also check out http://www.reviewcentre.com for more scary reviews about this company.

Churchill is the worst companty I have ever dealt with. They have taken 15 months to fail to settle a claim against a third party who drove in to my stationary car and got me involved in a potential court case which they now threaten to drop leaving me hundreds of pounds out of pocket. Steer very clear. The dog does not say 'Oh yes!' When it actually matters.

I have held my motor insurance with churchill for around 3 years now and have never had a problem with them. They have always been the cheapest ive found (even with moneysupermarket.com and comparethemarket.com etc). they have never provided me with a bad service and when i wanted to add breakdown cover to my policy they were extremely helpful ... Churchill started out great for me in 2000, but over the past few years it has become increasingly difficult to obtain an insurance certificate from them at anything other than policy renewal time. A couple of years ago I needed a duplicate certificate. "We charge £10 for a new certificates now to discourage people from losing them" ... Read the complete review

Churchill is one of the biggest companies out there for motor insurance. As a customer of theirs for over 6 years I can say the service has not always been excellent. The trouble I have had with them is the service when calling them up and getting the wrong quotes of them. My last experience of this was just two months ago when my insurance was ... My dear wife has been with Churchill Insurance for her motor insurance for 4 years now. Initially when you choose an insurance company you do so on one premise - the quote. Firstly that all-important quote. Like many people I'm sure we have many unprompted cards and letters delivered to us from insurance companies promising to make ... Read the complete review

This review is just about the setting up of home insurance with Churchill (www.churchill.com). As I'm moving soon, I decided to phone around a few insurance companies to get the best deal on home insurance. I decided to get the phone numbers on-line, but when I went to the Churchill Insurance web-site there was an easy to fill out form ... Read the complete review

Yesturday I had a blow out on the motorway which resulted in me and my car up an embankment (could have been worse and luckily I'm ok!) But I was 70 miles from home, stuck on the M1! I called churchill and was first told that blow outs are due to ware and tear of your tyres and my policy doesn't cover that! So I'm left helpless not ... Read the complete review

When I first passed my test and shopped around for car insurance I was receiving silly quotes of £1200-£1500!! I contacted churchill for a quote and was suprised to hear that they were basically swapping the "pass Plus" (test you can do after passing you driving test) for a years free no claims!! This resulted in a discount of around ... Read the complete review

I have been insuring with Churchill for some years now and have only ever put in a claim once about four years ago. At that time I had very good service and was entirely satisfied with the work however if I were to put in a claim now I would not be so sure. First of all if you contact them on the telephone number if you require a quote they will ... Read the complete review

I have just joined Churchill from Endsleigh (see my other review) and boy am i pleased to be with Churchill. I've just bought my car insurance from Churchill. I drive a 12 year old Renault 5 that I bought from new, and I live in Liverpool. The first makes my car insurance low, and the second sends it souring through the roof. As the last time the car was insured I lived in another 'lower risk' area of the country, my car insurance was ... Read the complete review

Churchill passionate about insurance, so their slogan says. Really I say how about passionate about being totally unhelpful! We had a car accident 11th August this year on the way back from holiday in Devon. We`d travelled about half an hour and ended up as car 2 in a line of 4 who had a bump..well number 4 car drove into the back of us ... Read the complete review

I had been with Direct Line Insurance for a number of years, mainly as they always quoted me the cheapest price. When I moved home and had a look on the internet for quotes Churchill were the lowest for my new address. I'd never claimed on my motor insurance after 13 years of trouble free motoring until a dreaded day in April. My car ... Read the complete review

We've been with Churchill now for 3 years, and admiteddly the only reason we're still with them is because no-one else will touch us with 23ft barge pole, however, it's not all bad. For starters, their premiums were very competitive when we changed our car from a 1.2 Seat Ibiza to a 2.0l Mondeo GLX. The premium actualyl went ... Read the complete review

I was surprised to see positive comments about Churchill from other Dooyoo members as I have had nothing but trouble with them.
