Advantages: Personal service

Disadvantages: Sent an agent to my house

I first took out my policy with CIS several years ago. The only downside to the policy was that to set it up initially they sent an agent to my house. I know some people would prefer the personal service, and I remember the coop man used to come round to my house growing up every week to collect various insurances, but I found it a bit inconvenient and would have prefered to do it all over the phone. I found the agent to be friendly but a bit overbearing but he did print out my policy on the spot making it possible to tax my car straight away.
I was lucky to never had to make a claim but I know friends who have. They dealt with the claim really quickly, and with no hassles. I have claimed on other insurance policies and it wasnt nearly so easy.
I would recomend this product to people. The phone service is also good if you ever need to change some aspect of your policy.
