Advantages: Cheap, helpful, good policy details

Disadvantages: None so far

I am writing as a customer of CIS insurance from the motor side of the company as I am really impressed with their services.

I am a 21 year old guy who has a normal car, a 1.1 Peugeot 205, and had been insured with a company called Quinn Direct fot the past 2 years. After returning from Australia I needed insurance again, and with 3 years no claims, I thought that I would be able to find it reasonably cheap. This was not the case. The average price I was facing was around £400-450 which was more than I had been paying the previous year!

After shopping around I found CIS, who quoted me only £330. I needed a few specific details, and I think that this one is key for younger drivers. They allow you to drive any other car third party, providing you dont own the vehicle, which for me is fantastic. Quinn allowed me to do this but I had not found another company who would, but CIS were by far the cheapest and also allowed this, which was great! Not only did they give me this, I am also allowed to drive abroad for 3 months during the annual policy, which I will certainly find useful as I am planning a trip to Europe over the summer.

After being impressed with their quote and policy details, I gave them a ring to find that the lady on the other end was extremely helpful, confirming that everything was correct with what I had been quoted and I proceeded to buy the insurance.

I have not had a problem with them at all during the policy, and recently I had somebody pull out infront of me, which resulted in me making a claim on their insurance.

I phoned up CIS who helped me through the situation. Organising me a courtesy car, and talking with the other guys insurance company until an agreement was made. They made me a very acceptable offer on the value of my car which I accpeted, although I may have been able to get more, I believed that what they offered was fair.

So overall, I have found them to be by far the cheapest company for me, giving extra features that other companies just dont offer for younger drivers. They also deal with home and business insurance, but as I am not a home owner, I have not had any dealings with this side of the insurance, although I will definatly look to them when I am.

I think that this is a very good company for young drivers to be insured with, and im sure older, more experienced drivers will find the same too!

Summary: A great company offering a good service, expicially for younger drivers.

This is a good review but misplaced. You do tell readers upfront but, ultimately it's about car an not home insurance. If the car insurance category doesn't exist already for CIS why not suggest it? You'll earn a few extra miles too. You can then move your op across to the right place where it will be more useful to folk looking for car insurance.

Let me know if you do move it and I'll rerate
