Advantages: maybe competitive price

Disadvantages: slow response, unhelpful and unreliable service

I had a road accident back in the end of September, but I am still waiting fro Direct Line to sort out the paperwork so that my car can be fixed. I have to say Direct Line is CRAP and UNRELIABLE. I am very annoyed and disappointed with the way that Direct Line deals with my claim. I watched a Direct Line advert on telly one day, it says, 'When it is a good deal but not a good deal,' and 'When you found a cheap car insurance and they always let you down.' I am sure this is EXACTLY what Direct Line tries to tell (warn) people what they are like. Certainly in my case, I wish I have paid a little extra to have a car insurace from somewhere else, so that I don't need to tear my hair in the last 6 weeks, and still tearing...

Summary: Let's face it, you get what you pay for so pay a little extra & get a better service somewhere else
