Direct Line, Do it on line..... (Direct Line)
Member Name: washboard
Advantages: Competitive Quotes on-line, You can add or remove extra policy covers, 24 hour a day service Disadvantages: Prefers customers over 21 usually, High performance cars are usually expensive
Quite suprised to hear myself say this, but I would actually recommend Direct line for car insurance especially if you sign up on line. Apart from the fact that you can save quite a few quid in admin fees because your creating the policy yourself, you also get a chance to play around with some of the policy features, that more often than not you can't do over the phone. By playing around with your voluntery excess for example you can increase the cost of your insurance or decrease the cost. You can even set you excess to be £0 if you wanted to, which I never new before until I tried it. You can remove the added insurance costs of, legal fee cover or personal liability cover. These are things that some people take for granted when they renew their insurance policies and probably have paid for them for years without even knowing. Although I'm not advising anybody to take them off their policy if you want to get a more competitive quote or better still a policy that suits your needs, then this is perfect. Summary: |
