No hassle insurers (Direct Line)

Disadvantages: no pice matching of quotes

I have been with Direct Line insurance now for three years and think they're a great insurer.

I originally joined them because not only where they the cheapest to insure me but I also had the confidence through other family members that they were good.

Since I've had my insurance I have had to put one claim in(not my fault) and they dealt with it all speedily. The accident was not my fault and they did all the running about for me and got all their money back so I was not penalised as I first feared.

Each year till this year they always came back to me with a really good competitive quote and even when I moved house they switched my details over for me and amended the insurance costs.

This year I must admit to having second thoughts about keeping my insurance with them as the quote didn't fall by much and I thought I'd get it cheaper elsewhere. After a trawl ruond a few places I did get a cheaper quote and I was left at the dilemna point. Do I switch or pay the extra for what I know is good service.

After a trawl round dooyoo for the comments here I decided to stay becuase the other company didn't seem as reliable.

Direct Line may have been that bit extra this year and wouldn't agree to price match the quote for me BUT what price do you place on reliable car insurance in the event of needing them for anything.

I'd recommend people anytime to go and use Direct Line as they are a good company and more often than not the cheapest too.
