Company car drivers... and previous no claims bonuses (Direct Line)

Being a company car driver for two years and not having the luxury of building up any no claims, I recently purchased a new car then went looking for....Cheaper... Car insurance.

The quotes were ridiculous, I only wanted third party and some of the prices being received were higher than the value of the car.

After applying to direct line, they asked if I had built up any no claims previous to having the company car, I explained luckily I had 3 years worth, they asked for my previous insurers details and quoted taking my no claims into consideration.... The quote came in nearly £200.00 cheaper than any of the others, even the ladies policies (which I am starting to think is a total waste of time)

So I was a happy shopper.

Anyway just thought I would share that with you, good luck reinsuring....
