endsleigh car insurance- couldnt ask for better (Endsleigh Insurance)

I have just recently bought my first car and being 18 at the time I wanted to make sure that I got the cheapest car insurance as possible because I have little money.

My first went onto gocompare.com which then gave me all the prices of different car insurers after I filled out my details and car details which my car is a 1.2 renualt cliio. At the top was the list was endsleigh which had quoted me £1300 a year which I thought was cheap since ive looked at car insurance quotes before and they have been nearly £2000.

I went onto the endsleigh website and filled in my details on there which was the exact same details which I used when i filled out the form on gocompare and to my suprise the quote on their site was just over £1000 thats nearly £300 cheaper. I had to pay £209 deposit and then £87 a month for 11 months. I thought thats excellent for my age. I then rang them up and they said they will try and get it cheaper, they then filled out my details on their system and they managed to get it down to £85 per month which I thought every little helps but they then offered me another price which was £87 which a courtesy car for two weeks if something was to happen. I decided for an extra £2 a month I will take the courtesy car.

I think my price was very cheap for my age as I completed a pass plus course. The lady on the phone said that they will send me out an envelope which I must send my pass plus to them as evidence so I though fair enough. I didnt hear nothing of this until I got a letter saying they havent received my pass plus certificate and if I didnt send it to them by a certain date then they will adjust my premium to what it would be without the pass plus. I looked at the date they wanted it by and realised that it was already like 3 days after that date and the date they had written the letter was over a week ago so I rang them up and they said thats fine just send it in to them so I did and they sent me a letter saying they had received it and everything is ok.

I have paid 3 monthly payments so far and everything is all good. Im just waiting till ive paid for a year and see what their renewal quote is or if another company will offer me something cheaper.
