Yes i'm a student, and yes Endsleigh is supposed to be one of the best insurers for students, but after recently organising my insurance I found them to be one of the most pushy, annoying and truth bending companies i've found! Realising that my insurance was due I rang around the companies to get the best quote leaving Endsleigh till last knowing it to be very competitive. After pushing through all my details the quote I recieved could be beaten, so the young lady said that she'd have to phone the underwriters to secure me a lower quote, BUT she'd need a small deposit??? Why?? Make a deposit on a price she hasn't even worked out yet?? Don't think so!!! So she called me back and beat the quote by £11 and was already signing me up before i'd confirmed it! So I said i'd call around some more and call back later, to this the operator hummed and harred saying she couldn't hold it for long and asking when i'd call. half an hour later she called me up again to enquire again. Then again in another hour! And finally after another hour she called again!!! Aaaaaaargh leave me alone! This time saying that she wanted to know whether i'd be taking the offer as she had another client interested?? (They owned my car?, They lived next to me?, they were identical, because as we know insurance is individual!!). Anyway cut to the chase I got a better deal, and after the hassle the operator gave me, and stories of refusal to pay out or being very arkquard in settling claims, I decided not to bother and suggest you do the same!!!!
