Advantages: Cars, what can I say

As you know car insurance premiums are set to rise by 25%, and for young drivers like myself this is a nightmare. It already costs lots to get lessons, take your tests and pass them. I sympathise for all who failed as it costs around £70 to do it again. The you have to either insure yourself on your parents car or buy your own. I think i'll be insuring myself on my parents super cool (NOT) Ford Fiesta for the time being, even that will cost too much. Some of my friends have their own car, which seems like the dumbest thing to do nowadays but some are lucky and can afford it-just.

I then come to petrol prices, one of my friends has found out petrol prices for a year costs as much as he paid for his car. Even though prices have gone down where I live they are still set to rise a lot soon.

What are the government up to, I wonder how Prescott can afford to run his 4 high fuel using cars, is it with the money he makes from high petrol taxes, I WONDER. How does he expect us to use public transport when it maybe cheap but it is nasty, very nasty.
