Advantages: Online form rather than pushy salesperson

Disadvantages: Filling in the form can be hard

I've seen the adverts on the telly and went in for a quote. The form filling was fairly straighforward untill I was trying to put in the details of my second driver. In the field for occupation I put "retired" and pressed the search button as required. This found retired so I moved on. The next field is for employers business, as I had put in an employement type of retired I left this blank. Of course I couldn't continue with a blank field. I entered "none" and hit the search button, no matches. I had no other ideas.

I filled in the e-mail comments form explaining this problem and was told that if the employment type was "retired" the employers business should be entered as "Not in employment". How ridiculous to expect people to work this out, the business type is not a pick list so you have to guess that not in employment is the right thing to type. I wrote back to them explaining that this was unlikely to be a phrase which popped into your head and they didn't reply.

Their quote was also one of the higher ones I obtained.
